Fresh Faces of Fashion 2013

Houston Texas, June 4, 2013-
The Fresh Faces Kickoff Event, an event known for the reveal of the Fresh Faces of Fashion list took place this June at the historical Hermann Park Conservancy (HPC). The event was hosted in part by Tootsies, Stoli Vodka, Houston Magazine and Mercedes-Benz Houston Area Dealers.

   

This year’s ten picks are – Kirsten Berger, Julie Longoria Chen, Kendall Hanno, Kristina Hornberger, Nicole Katz, Mary Elizabeth Moore, Laurie Schaub, Jill Schlenker, Jennie Segal and Brittany Tiner .

To accent the summer atmosphere, our linking promotional specialist fashioned stylish tangerine dresses. Specialists helped to greet guest and direct them to the guest survey to sign up to enter to win an exclusive Mercedes-Benz prize package. Through superb logistical planning, Linking was able to excel in expectations set forth from our clients. Mercedes-Benz Presents Fashion Funds the Cure


This year on March 9, Linking Events will be in Tampa celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Fashion Funds the Cure event. Mercedes-Benz, a major contributor to the cause, will once again team up with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation to help host the occasion.


The Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization that dedicates itself to funding research to finding the cure to childhood cancer. More than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year and despite this fact, this is a consistently underfunded cause. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Fashion Funds the Cure has been helping dreams come true for the past decade. This celebration brings together young girls who battle cancer every day and rejoices unsurpassed strength and courage. Celebrity host Carson Kressley joined the girls, on February 10th at Neiman Marcus, for a day of pampering away from treatments and hospital visits. After being chauffeured to the store, volunteers helped the girls enjoy manicures, pedicures and a full day of relaxation! In preparation for the fashion show the girls were treated to lunch and had a chance to choose outfits from the store.

Seductive New Mercedes-Benz CLA - Introduced during the Super Bowl

This past Sunday, for those fortunate enough to tune in, we witnessed a game for the books. This will be the most talked about Super Bowl for centuries to come and that’s no exaggeration. Sunday February 3, 2013 New Orleans was host to Super Bowl XLVII in their very own Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The well anticipated game had more excitement then anyone could have hoped! With the Ravens winning in the first half it looked to be an easy game. After the power outage in the third quarter the 49ers came back with a bang, scoring 17 points in only a 4 minute stretch. After an exhilarating second half the Ravens took the win with 34-31 score.  Just as surprising as the Super Bowl itself, Mercedes-Benz had a few tricks up their sleeve this year with the commercial introducing the new seductive CLA. Many will await the arrival of the new CLA, starting at $29,900, this September. Mercedes-Benz has always been a generous contributor to the NFL and thus was presented as such during the big game. The biggest touch point was the sky high emblem that was placed in epicenter of the dome.
Contracting Usher, the 7 time Grammy winner and Kate Upton, the 20 year old who was named Rookie of the Year in 2011 of Sport Illustrated was a paramount move! Adding Willem Dafoe was the icing on the star-studded cake. As we all know, with Mercedes-Benz it’s “The best or nothing” and they definitely had one of the best commercials on play this Sunday. Super Bowl XVLII - Space Babies Sneak Peak

Exactly 72 hours from 6:30 PM Today January 31, 2013 a football will be kicked off at the New Orleans Superdome and an estimated 130 million people will be watching the biggest game in American sports.
The Super Bowl has become somewhat of a national holiday. Family and friends all gather with unimaginable amounts of food and drinks to spare, to cheer on their conference team! Super Bowl XLVII will be presenting the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. With an audience that amounts to be almost half of the population we can only imagine the media and advertisement possibility. A simple 30 second commercial can cost a few billion dollars. Not only is the game talked about for the next couple of months but the commercials have also become just as popular as the game itself. KIA recently released their sneak peak commercial (below) and as we all know, KIA has the power to surprise!

Dolphins Business Alliance Trade Show

MIAMI --
2012 Dolphins Business Alliance Trade Show was on December 4th at Sun Life Stadium. This year, former Coach Shula was honored by being awarded the DBA Alumni Honoree Award. Don Shula is known as the only coach in the National Football League to have coached a perfect season.
The trade show took place in “Dolphins Prime” which is the most elite club seating dining area. While enjoying hors d’oervres, attendees had access to Super Bowl Trophies and had a chance to meet with Dolphins players, alumni and cheerleaders. Some of the players present were Riche Incognito (68), Brian Hartline (82), RJ Stanford (25) and Quarter Back Matt Moore (8).
Over 700 South Florida business professionals took advantage of this one of a kind networking and trade show opportunity. Mercedes-Benz was present at this event show casing the sleek 2013 SLK. Linking provided Promotional Specialists to be onsite with the vehicles. Specialists enticed the attendees to enjoy the comfortable leather seats in the SLK and participate in the Mercedes-Benz Guest Survey.

So Far This Season

So far this season, The University of Miami football team has had an amazing start in the fan zone. Linking Events and Kia Motors (and its local dealers) have been at attendance at each of the home games this season. Linking Events is responsible for the logistics, planning and coordinating of the activation as well as providing promotional specialists.

 

Specialists, well versed in each of the KIA Motors vehicles, are present in each game. Linking Promotional Specialists encourage guest to interact in all tailgating activities, including signing up with KIA Motors to with a $100 Visa Gift Card and have an opportunity to sit and ask questions about the display vehicles.

Linking Events has accompanied the canes and their fans by being part of the famous tailgating celebrations. So far this year we’ve had “family weekend”, visits from the UM cheerleaders and marching band that attracted fans for Photo opportunity with the vehicles. One of the best treats was having KIA Motors place a 2013 Optima on the field center stage for all to see during the North Carolina State Home Game on September 29, 2012
 
The latest tailgating experience was the well awaited homecoming game between UM and FSU where the fan zone was on fire!

Here We Go Again!

Football season has finally begun and Linking Events is there to celebrate once more!

In the past 3 years, Linking Events has been activating for Mercedes-Benz during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games. This year the Tampa Bay Buccaneers return with bigger and better opportunities. The first game of the season this year, with a win of 10-16, was against the Panthers.
As the very excited crowd started their tailgate festivities, Linking Events was there to represent  Mercedes-Benz inside the club level entrance on the east wing. This year we introduced interactive iPad counters to the mix for a more hands on guest experience.

Our Promotional specialists were responsible for speaking to football fans about the 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-Class on display along with lead generation. Linking Promotional Specialists encouraged fans to participate in a Mercedes-Benz survey to receive a trendy sports hat.
 Linking Events Team will be back when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers go against the Washington Red Skins on September 30th 2012.
